AARON SORKIN
(Screenwriter)

AARON SORKIN received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Screenplay for his first script, "A Few Good Men," based on his highly acclaimed Broadway play directed by Don Scardino. Sorkin won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding American Playwright for this play. He also wrote the suspenseful film "Malice" which starred Alec Baldwin, Nicole Kidman and Bill Pullman.

A native of New York, Sorkin graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in theater. He came close to a theatrical debut with his first play, "Removing Doubt," but it was his second, a one-act called "Hidden in This Picture" which had its premiere at the West Bank Cafe Downstairs Theater Bar in 1988. A full length version called "Making Movies" opened in 1990 at the Promenade Theater.
