
JOHN SEALE
(Cinematographer)
Born in Warwick, Queensland, Australia, Seale started out in Australian TV before his break in features, as a camera operator on such films as Peter Weir's "Picnic at Hanging Rock," "The Last Wave" and "Gallipoli" -- and as a second-unit cameraman on "The Year of Living Dangerously."
As a cinematographer, his impressive credits include "The Paper," "The Firm," "Lorenzo's Oil," "The Doctor," "Dead Poets Society," "Stakeout," "The Mosquito Coast," "Children of a Lesser God," "The Hitcher" and "Careful He Might Hear You." Seale also directed the feature "Till There Was You."
