ROB REINER
(Producer/Director)

ROB REINER is one of Hollywood's top directors, creating films which win both audience enthusiasm and critical acclaim. His most recent box-office success was the gripping and suspenseful "A Few Good Men," which received four Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, and a nomination for Reiner as Best Director from the Directors Guild of America.

His directorial debut, "This Is Spinal Tap," a "rockumentary" on the ups and downs of a fictitious British rock band, received wide acclaim and established Reiner's reputation as a filmmaker of unique vision and sparkling satiric wit.

His other film credits include "The Sure Thing," "Stand By Me," (which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, and a nomination for Reiner as Best Director from the DGA), "The Princess Bride," the box-office smash hit "When Harry Met Sally..." (which received an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay, five Golden Globe nominations, and a DGA nomination for Reiner), "Misery" (for which Kathy Bates garnered an Oscar), and "North."

Prior to his directorial debut, Reiner acted in many television and feature films, and became a household name for his Emmy Award winning portrayal of Michael Stivic, the son-in-law of Archie Bunker in the hit series "All in the Family."

Reiner, co-founder of Castle Rock Entertainment, is involved in all phases of the company's creative activities.
