Your opponent has accused you of dating a woman who was involved in an anti-government rally in the 60's. What do you have to say about this?

I don't think that my personal life has any bearing on my performance as President, and therefore I decline to answer.

Though she was involved in an anti-government rally, she did nothing illegal. She was fighting against something that I disagreed with also and I will support and defend her actions 100%.

My opponent will use anything he can dig up from my past or the past of anyone connected to me in order to besmirch my spotless record and good name. I trust the public. I know they care about this country, as I do. And I know they won't be fooled by desperate mud-slinging.

It's true. It was also 30 years ago. Why doesn't the Senator mention her pro-government service of the last 25 years? Sydney is a wonderful woman and as committed to the welfare of this country and the world as I am.
